The role of women in Renaissance as a very scarce role. Women were controlled by her parents from the day she is born until the day she is married, then she would be handed directly to her husband so he could take over that role. In the time of the renaissance women were considered to legally belong to their husbands. Women were supposed to be typical ‘housewives.' She was supposed to marry well, be loyal to her husband and give birth to boys. Women of different class have different roles. Low class women were expected to be a good housewife and take care of house. The roles of women of a working class was different. They were expected to help their husbands to run their business by their side and after go home with their husband and take care of the house hold. Upper class women had servants and workers to help them but still they were expected to the house work. In Renaissance women were not allowed to work alone or live alone no matter what. If a women was single then she was made to move in with a male relative or she was to join a convent and become a nun. There was no other choice for women.
